MUARFAT
Now that you know the importance of muwaddah, so now you may also know that one muwaddahs only who he knows. This is called Muarfat.
DEFINITION OF MUARFAT
Muarfat is defined as to know someone by a specific quality in his personality which only he possesses and cannot be found in others. This can be understood with a following example;
Suppose there is two boys and both of them are wearing black dresses, but one of them wears a white cap and the other wears white. Meaning if one has to address a boy, he needs to make sure he points out the boy with the colour of his cap as both the boys wear same coloured dresses.
Similarly what makes Hazrat Muhammad saww different than the rest of the prophetssws is that he is the last of all or more correctly The Seal of Prophets, and this would be one aspect of Prophet Mohammedsws’s muarfat.
IMPORTANCE OF MUARFAT
One’s devotion to someone really depends on how well you know that person. For example if a famous person dies, you may not feel so bad about it but if, your neighbour passes away (God forbid) you may have a serious sense of loss, though he may be a common man.
