kashaful salat

Namaz

Namaz/Salat is the identity of a Muslim, which means anyone can identify a Muslim by seeing him offering Salat. Namaz in reality is the most beautiful expression of a Muslim’s belief, as long as he knows what he is doing and what he is saying to Allah all mighty.

The basic misconception of the parents today is that they think by just teaching the child how to offer Namaz, he would become a regular Namazi and that is about it, their job is done. But this very mistake becomes a grave problem when the child reaches adulthood. He gets away and away from the true beliefs and teachings of Islam- making him believe that he fulfils all his duties in the world by just offering Namaz and that would be enough to save him from the torture of Hereafter. Exactly, this the time when Satan makes a place in one’s heart and mind and the one seems to completely believe that he is a true Muslim as he does all what Allah swt expects from His swt servants.

You may evaluate this for yourself by just having a close look around you. You may, initially be impressed by those, who have marks of prostration ‘Sajda’ on their foreheads produced by regular praying, they always love to talk about Namaz, they boast about their piousness by mentioning they are always in the state of ablution (Wuzu). But when you hear and see their daily activities, you may discover that these people are, on many occasion, against the teachings of Ahlulbayt (a.s). Azadari-e-Hussain (a.s) holds no meaning for them and being disrespectful to Ahlulbayt (a.s) is reflected in their discussions and manners. On the other hand, if they hear a single word against their Molvi, they would be ready to fight and die. This has been implanted in their upbringing, right from their childhood. Indeed, they were only taught how to offer Namaz and were never made to understand its true essence. We have, in order to highlight these aspects, have distributed the teachings about Namaz into three main parts:

Orders regarding Salat ‘Ahkam-e-Namaz’

Ways to offer Salat ‘Tariqa-e-Namaz’

Understanding the essence of Salat ‘Tafheem-e-Namaz’
